BIR Tax Exemption Application

After several attempts starting 2015 I was finally able to submit all the necessary requirements for filing for tax exemptions.

2015 - RDO was unable to release Certified True copies of ITR and AFS for the year 2012 and 2013
(due to the previous manual entries/change of chief and other reasons)
2016 - Was given a Tax Clearance Certificate, however RDO was unable to release Certified True copies of ITR and AFS for the year 2013
2017 - CTC of ITR&AFS from 2014,2015 and 2016 were released, however Authorized Agent Banks had erroneous entries (i.e payment for the month of June was entered for December) and other system issues.
2018 - Submitted all requirements to the RDO

We are a SEC registered church-I see some negative comments about it. Why is there a flak over this? Generally,it is because some people view it as a phony church.I love my church family, where I got baptized and came to an understanding of faith in Jesus. The church is simply not a building. As Christians- followers of our Savior Jesus Christ, we practice what He preached and commanded. It can only be done through a church setting-a community of fellow believers who studies the scriptures together and works together in unity to grow the faith of each other.

BIR Application for Tax Exemption

Last year I started what turned out to be a very long winded process of delays LOL -which spanned several months of follows up to no avail.I wonder what would restore my faith in government offices! There was a long list of requirements which I have furnished except for the Certified True Copies of Income Tax Returns and Financial Statement for the last 3 years that can only be obtained from their office, this even if I was able to secure a Certification issued by the RDO that the company is not subject to any pending investigation etc. etc. makes me think...

This the list of requirements I got from our RDO:

So,April is approaching again and I have to make sure that I am able to update all information in both BIR and SEC--which is like miles away from here.

Admin Tasks:Requirements for changing bank signatories

So, it is time to change signatories after electing new officers and some other changes that came up.I was required by the bank to produce photocopies of valid ID's of the new signatories, accomplish forms, submit a notarized Secretary's Certificate and a notarized Resolution about these changes.

It should take just a few days to produce all of these. Before, the bank used to provide a copy of the Sec Cert that you can just fill-out with your information but now they say we have to make our own.Photocopying came first, then I had to make the Secretary's Cert so I tried to find some format online.I found some with the key words "Secretary's Cert format banks" on Google search. It showed many formats from various banks so I tried to customize it so here goes:

Business Permit Renewal 2016

The odyssey of renewing business licenses has begun!

The residential certificate or Cedula was already obtained by Marie so I went to Brgy III to get the Brgy Clearance. I tried to Google how it's done and it is indeed simple - How to get Barangay Clearance – Requirements and Procedure

To make things simple, fast and convenient the BPLO  set up the different offices and made it into a one stop shop-everything in one place.

First,I went to the Engineering Office section, then to the assessor, next the SOA (Statement of Account) processing which took about two hours. Then I had to pay the dues and since the Fire Dept. section was also set up there, I didn't have to go to their office-voila! There was free coffee and Wi-Fi too.

The only problem I had was with the building lease contract, but since the processing is until the 21st ,I still have ample time. ...to be continued.
