Daet, Cam Norte:ICOC-Daet 3rd Anniv + Calaguas trip

I almost though that I had to pass up on going to the beach this year but it turned out that it is time to go to Calaguas! But the best part is the third anniversary of the ICOC -Cam Norte. We were also at their inauguration 3 years ago. That time, we went to Bagasbas beach. The church have grown and they have many teens now and the children of the disciples are now entering their teens and campus phases.

06:30 PM settling in tents and swimming
07:30 PM Dinner - buttered shrimp, adobo, afritada, sinantolan, hotdogs, fish
08:30 PM washing up /sleep - others played bingo

Because there were lots of boats coming back from Calaguas, the port got crowded and we were left stranded for more or less than an hour in the boat because we had to wait for the other passengers to get off their boats and the boatmen had to navigate the narrow channel. I think we saw about ten of them full of people who had to walk a few meters from the boarding/waiting area.

Padre Burgos,Quezon:Dampalitan Island Getaway 2016!

It's been a week since the summer trip!I was actually reluctant to go there via boat ride because there were no life vests.I even wanted to buy my own.If it is a commercial boat, they'd probably provide life vests, however,it is a private fishing boat so there is no provision for such.To make the long story short,I am writing this because I did not drown in the sea.

This time,I made sure I drank lots of water because in our trip in Cagbalete Island,I felt like I had some kind of heatstroke because of the lack of drinking water.

Our friend Jeric brought lots of gallons of drinking water. We also had a long list of things to bring that our hut looked like a store LOL. Trips are always short because people have to go to work, this is certainly not enough for me.I would have stayed longer-like a few more hours.

The first day was so relaxing for me because I was able to lie down on the bench of the nipa hut we rented.I don't know why,but bugs always bite me.They are always there following me around.During the late afternoon I was able to see the sunset hide behind the mountains a little bit as the others do the faith walk activity. At night,I wasn't able to do star gazing as there were so many people and it was really crowded. This beach however is considered the biggest among the 3 most popular island beaches in Padre Burgos.I was able to visit Kwebang Lampas/Puting Buhangin last year but we just stayed there half a day, it was more crowded there. The only island I haven't visited yet is Borawan.
