Padre Burgos:Huntington Beach 2018

Another day at the beach!Where time is slow and food abounds!Laughter at small things and amazement at God's favor is the theme!
This year we headed to -Huntington Beach at Padre Burgos, Quezon Province. This resort is a bit new with huts just constructed recently. Karaoke was the worst part because some people who got drunk just can't stop. But inspite of that, my husband slept noisily. There was a drizzle during the night, so it was cold and damp in our tent LOL!
Our group this year was composed of 3 families with their kids -15 in all including me and hubby and the other group from the singles were also 15 -they were separate from us though.
The beach was big and we rented 2 boats to go see the other islands -Borawan and Dampalitan (we went there last 2016). Nanay Cela and Tatay Bert told us about the place because their relatives worked there.
There's electricity in the cottages, you can charcoal-grill,and roam around. There are small white- spotted jellyfish which aren't harmful but there can be the other kinds of jellys so you have to be careful. If you have kids they must stay in the netted area for safety.
The water is very shallow, the highest level at half kilometer is just probably knee deep. The part we stayed at is just ankle deep.

Padre Burgos,Quezon:Dampalitan Island Getaway 2016!

It's been a week since the summer trip!I was actually reluctant to go there via boat ride because there were no life vests.I even wanted to buy my own.If it is a commercial boat, they'd probably provide life vests, however,it is a private fishing boat so there is no provision for such.To make the long story short,I am writing this because I did not drown in the sea.

This time,I made sure I drank lots of water because in our trip in Cagbalete Island,I felt like I had some kind of heatstroke because of the lack of drinking water.

Our friend Jeric brought lots of gallons of drinking water. We also had a long list of things to bring that our hut looked like a store LOL. Trips are always short because people have to go to work, this is certainly not enough for me.I would have stayed longer-like a few more hours.

The first day was so relaxing for me because I was able to lie down on the bench of the nipa hut we rented.I don't know why,but bugs always bite me.They are always there following me around.During the late afternoon I was able to see the sunset hide behind the mountains a little bit as the others do the faith walk activity. At night,I wasn't able to do star gazing as there were so many people and it was really crowded. This beach however is considered the biggest among the 3 most popular island beaches in Padre Burgos.I was able to visit Kwebang Lampas/Puting Buhangin last year but we just stayed there half a day, it was more crowded there. The only island I haven't visited yet is Borawan.

D-Time Chronicles 2014

Entering Enverga University Site

There's not a lot of passengers

The roads going to Nanay Conching's house has improved albeit slowly:

Long bumpy stretch:

I went to their house but they planned to go to SM so I just went there with them by Tricyle. So here we are at Global Pinoy SM:

I shared with her the previous Sunday service sermon from the Lenten Season series that we are studying at church. It was entitled Taking Responsibility
