It's the perfect time for one of my best friends to get married! Finally!Well truly good things happen to those who wait...patiently in the Lord.
Hilde and I had known each other since I was a young Christian.She was my third discipling partner -after my dear Ate Meanne and Aimee.She had discipled me for quite sometime and helped me in my walk with God.I probably gave her a lot of headaches.She is known as a very encouraging sister,she even won an award as the Most Encouraging person hahaha.

We even became house mates and had many experiences together. We had ghosts experiences in one house we lived in Cubao which was so creepy I wrote about it here . Then we moved again to another house in the same area where we had a big bump because I locked the door and went to sleep, so she was knocking and knocking but no one heard until Mitch finally woke up and opened the door for her!
When I won a raffle ticket for two to Bohol I went there with her because no one in my family can go.I was so knocked out tired the first night that I fell asleep right away.

We also went to many friends weddings together most of which she was the brides maid or maid of honor of the bride ,including mine!We had a lot of fun!

However, sometimes I don't experience it and I feel lonely ,but I can rest assured that even if the people are not around, He is with me all the time. Lucena Church had the privilege of witnessing the, what can I call it? steady dating and engagement public announcement? Anyway, it is the first time ever for our young church.Our brother Serf, from another part of the globe - the US ,traveled for many hours to be with his special sister in the Lord. It's his first visit here in Lucena but have been to the country early this year.In the church, even if you have never met the people, you feel that special connection because of the Holy Spirit.It's like family -but not blood related ,it is spirit related.I think he had a bit of an adventure in our province and surrounding cities.During his stay, he went to several places and some of the places where I have joined were Graceland Estates and Country Club, MJD Urban Escape Farms, and Max's Restaurant. love love love Food!!!

My faith partner gifted me with this cute Ann Taylor black and white floral lace cami. I really appreciate gifts every kind of them small, big, old and new etc. because after I settled here in the province, I had to really live way below my means. I was used to fast food and I didn't worry so much about finances until I went here. There was a time when I had to just eat the plants that grow in the backyard - mostly leaves of the sweet potato and chilly peppers - it was a healthy diet some may say, it is different when you don't have any choice.
The move also helped me assess my belongings, I got rid of the things that I didn't need and I found out that I had so much trash. The things we acquire over time and not having the time to clean up in the house really made these unwanted things accumulate fast.I realized that I don't need so much clothes and it won't hurt if I use them until they are frayed.I gave away the trinkets I don't have any use of but I kept those that I can display in my office space.Away with the wants and focus on the essential only.
