SEC Express Nationwide Submission-SENS is here!

There was a SEC memorandum circular that came out this year,I couldn't remember how I came across it,but I think it is a very helpful and convenient way of submitting the annual reports required by the SEC - the General Information Sheet  and the BIR /BIR authorized banks stamped Audited Finacial Statements.

The instructions are in the memorandum circular that you can print out from the website of SEC in the Announcement section (I have inserted the link above, just click it).The date of reckoning will be the date when SEC receives your documents, not when you drop it off at the courier so you have to be early.Deadlines are also stated in the circular so do read carefully.

The instructions are easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy (I just want to use this phrase LOL)

First, go to the website http://sens.secexpress.ph/
Next, select an option.I chose No Return Copy since I can get the Plain/Certified True Copies by ordering it thru https://secexpress.ph/ after 2-3 months, also I won't have any use for the SEC received copy-BIR requires Certified True Copies anyway.
Then, you'll be asked to choose an Air21 courier near you (there are no other couriers besides Air21 as of this writing),unfortunately there is none listed for Lucena,so I had to go to San Pablo City -of course it is still better than going to Manila with all that traffic! LOL
After that, you'll have to fill out the Check List form that should be attached to each document set you will send -one check list for the GIS set and one for the AFS set.
You also need to print the mail label that you have to paste/stick on the brown envelop. It also has an instruction there so read carefully.
attach the checklist to each document set
instructions for the mail label

So after you follow everything, you can track the status. The reference number is located on the Check List form.
Reference Number for tracking

Check the status of the document

SEC received our documents yey!

So, my next step is to follow-up if there is anything else that needs to be done by calling their Land Line 02 5849 225/5840 919 using NDD because it is long distance.

To Check if it is already in the SEC System, go to https://secexpress.ph/ then click get started,in the Order page enter the company information.

#slcbeyond2016

#slcbeyond2016 is the first ever South Luzon Geo Conference attended by Legaspi,Naga,Daet,Cavite,Batangas,Laguna and Lucena family of churches!
From Lucena church came forth 21 disciples and 4 of married couple's children.

I hate to be chasing deadlines, but unfortunately this year I had the chase of my life.I had to go to the Auditing firm as early as 7:30 AM to get the AFS that still had to be TIN verified, which means I had to fall in line in the dreaded BIR April 15th rush!Well,to my surprise when I got there, there aren't a lot of people yet.I was next in line at the counter when I arrived. Then,I had to go pay it at Metro Bank...but the traffic was so slow that the line for the BIR payments become sooo long as it is approaching 10AM.The call time for departure was 10AM and I finished paying at 11AM!Anyway,I was still able to watch the opening night when I arrived in Tagaytay at around 7PM.

Finding Joy in the Midst of Suffering

Finding Joy in the Midst of Suffering: On February 25, 2016, at age 52, Arlene Publico, Women’s Ministry Leader of the Metro Manila Christian Church, passed away. For someone who rubbed elbows with excruciating physical pain for almost five years as she struggled head on with cancer, it was indeed a well-fought battle.

Padre Burgos,Quezon:Dampalitan Island Getaway 2016!

It's been a week since the summer trip!I was actually reluctant to go there via boat ride because there were no life vests.I even wanted to buy my own.If it is a commercial boat, they'd probably provide life vests, however,it is a private fishing boat so there is no provision for such.To make the long story short,I am writing this because I did not drown in the sea.

This time,I made sure I drank lots of water because in our trip in Cagbalete Island,I felt like I had some kind of heatstroke because of the lack of drinking water.

Our friend Jeric brought lots of gallons of drinking water. We also had a long list of things to bring that our hut looked like a store LOL. Trips are always short because people have to go to work, this is certainly not enough for me.I would have stayed longer-like a few more hours.

The first day was so relaxing for me because I was able to lie down on the bench of the nipa hut we rented.I don't know why,but bugs always bite me.They are always there following me around.During the late afternoon I was able to see the sunset hide behind the mountains a little bit as the others do the faith walk activity. At night,I wasn't able to do star gazing as there were so many people and it was really crowded. This beach however is considered the biggest among the 3 most popular island beaches in Padre Burgos.I was able to visit Kwebang Lampas/Puting Buhangin last year but we just stayed there half a day, it was more crowded there. The only island I haven't visited yet is Borawan.

So here is the itinerary:
